History: Born in the south to a Barrister, Ernest learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Sellsword, but he got bored and became a Barrister. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: Hugh was born with his mother's beautiful face. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Mason, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
