Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he wants revenge against illithids

He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to find somewhere to settle down
