History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Richard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Richard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.
