Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His red hair is thinning but still full. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the east to a Blacksmith, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gifted student he started as a Bounty Hunter, but he got bored and became a Roofer. He has taken up work as a Roofer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Expand his business; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This younger middle-aged man is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, brown shirt, and black tie, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His hair is short and silver. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 36. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anthony was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Roofer business.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother
