History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He worked as a nervous Miner and found it very stressful. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gomory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright.
