History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Godfrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Scribe soon after.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
