History: Born in the south to a Shoemaker, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Weaver mother left him crippled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Chad was born with his mother's beautiful face. Chad was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Tailor. He has worked as a Tailor like his mother before him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 18. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.
