History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Reynard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shoemaker born in the past three hundred years. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ploughman profession.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Shoemaker.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again.
