A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently the stress of being a Carpenter has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Herbalist business.

History: Born to a Spy, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with his god.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 77. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Nicholas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Nicholas was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
