Description: 5'11" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. John is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. During his travels, John and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, John discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. John fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Frederick grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
