Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Dilettante. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and to end his boredom
