History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A gifted student he started as a Stylist, but he got bored and became a Detective. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

Description: This northern man wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His green leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has wavy red hair. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and many dire rats want him driven away
