History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Richard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He got into the Adventurer business at a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
