History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.
