History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He sports a long brown beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Chad has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
