Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He carries a battered bow and tarnished ceremonial dagger as well. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Miner.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and expand his business

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the north. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears brown trousers with violet and red striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He uses divination through singing.

History: Alex was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alex fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Trey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
