History: Chad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Robert was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Weaver. He became a Weaver soon after.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new weaver responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
