Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He has wavy white hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. One day when Theodoric was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Theodoric was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he tends to wear a large grey jacket. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a violet cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: 5'5" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears just a green suit. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Voice: Speaks with a cold

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his yellow robe. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
