History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Conrad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has worked as a Stableman like his mother before him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Charles reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
