He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has worked as a Unemployed like his father before him.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arnold studied abroad. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in lance use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
