History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He bought a kukri and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
