History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Nicholas was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mercenary and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He takes great joy in being the best Shoemaker in town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his father's many stories. He worked as a nervous Shoemaker and found it very stressful. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Shepherd profession.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cory abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He struck the Marshal job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he has money and likes to spend it
