History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has worked as a Tanner like his mother before him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
