History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to raise his children well

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Seamstress job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
