History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born into a rich family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
