Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Hugh took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears just a brown suit. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult
