History: He was born in the west. Gunter was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bather. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to share knowledge with the world
