His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This late middle aged man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his whip with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt and is in decent physical shape. He wears his white hair up. He is baby faced.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Gilbert liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a whip and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
