History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His green eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed blue hat.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Dilettante but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
