History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to prove his worth to the world
