History: Theodoric hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Hunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Hubert has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
