History: Adelard was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Adventurer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
