With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Bernard was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dilettante. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bellfounder, and he later adopted a second son.
