Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to pay off his debts
