Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.
