Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His chestnut hair is still thick. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears professional attire. His hair is cut close to his head. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Herbalist. He's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and further expansion of business

Description: This late middle aged man wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times and is in decent physical shape. His hair is long and brown with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are a pleasant blue.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. A true patriot, Bertram would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He stands about 6'3" and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age his mother died while driving off some giants. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in glaive use. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This southern man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull grey iron scale mail. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has moderate length black hair. His eyes are likewise hazel.
Personality: Jocelyn is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Jocelyn's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
