History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his father's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Butcher and occasionally as a mercenary.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Tim was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Adam wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a great chef.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
