History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Hubert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Gilbert speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the west. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
