Description: He wears a green coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. He carries with him a set of rapiers, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His black hair is singed and shortened. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: Gilbert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Ruler, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his monstrous two handed axe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His blonde hair is heavily combed to the right. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: Frederick is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. A true patriot, Frederick would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Gifted from a young age, Frederick studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Solomon was born with his father's beautiful face. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Solomon took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Solomon and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is renowned for his bright violet suits and hats. He has a very tight haircut. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born in a small plains village. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he's looking for his big break

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his falchion, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. His hair is long and red with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is an amazing painter.
History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
