Description: He stands about 5'9" and is renowned for his bright grey suits and hats. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. The war was a terrible time for him, and Simon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His tied-back hair is black. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson grey hat.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: Frederick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: Hubert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: He was raised in a island tribe. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bather for the past few years.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He carries a battered sickle and tarnished longsword as well. He has brown hair. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Gifted from a young age, Clerebold studied abroad. When Clerebold reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Clerebold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: Lance was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
