History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a Barrister first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Banker profession.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Reynard has worked very hard to control his curse. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barrister for hire.

History: Ralf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
