History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has achieved small success as a Scribe.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his old friends

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barber responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
