Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born to a Locksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Adelard was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sailor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.
