When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Priest who has hired him part-time. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Arnold's homeland. Arnold decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
