Bertram Stanford, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He is lean but muscular and is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to get a good night's sleep

Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Ugly, Antagonistic, Insomniac. Bonds: Adventurer, Mentor. Occupation: Spy

Voice: Can't modulate volume

William Eastoft, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He wears tattered old clothes, and carries bastard swords. His auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. William took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Ideals: Fighting, Impeccable. Flaws: Ugly, Mundane. Bonds: Nature. Occupation: Spy

Voice: Loud with bravado

Henry Branson, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He prefers to wear tan pants and tee shirts. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

Ideals: Entrepeneur. Flaws: Ugly, Insomniac, Antagonistic. Bonds: Job. Occupation: Assassin

Voice: Low rumbling, strings words together
