History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Lewis hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Guy was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Guy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and expand his business
