Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ernest embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Everard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Everard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born into a rich family. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he is greedy
