He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Geoffrey and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Geoffrey discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Geoffrey fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. A true patriot, Everard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Everard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

History: Dustin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.
