Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Bernard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Scribe business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolf grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Rolf was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Scribe. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is content; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Assassin. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to end his boredom
