Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears long strands of amber and short pastel dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His hair is short and white. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Mortician. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gifted student he started as a Engraver, but he got bored and became a Mortician. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Percival fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears tattered old clothes. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to work out more often

Description: This man wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time, and sports empty pouches on his belt. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Dilettante arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Peter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
